Agreements for 57 key projects in Jiaxing's nine administrative areas with a total of 72.1 billion yuan ($10.66 billion) in investment were signed in Nanhu district, Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province on July 15, according to local media reports.

Among them were 11 projects invested by the world's top 500 enterprises and leading enterprises in their respective industries, with a total investment of 29.63 billion yuan.

Tongxiang attracted the most project investment at 25.95 billion yuan for six projects.

In addition, 12 foreign-funded projects each received an investment of over $100 million, totaling $1.46 billion, while seven domestically-funded projects each received an investment of over 2 billion yuan, totaling 36.8 billion yuan.

The 57 projects include 12 involved in the equipment manufacturing industry, 11 involved in the medicine and health industry, nine involved in the new energy industry, eight involved in the new materials industry and six involved in the integrated circuits industry.
