The 2022 World Internet Conference will be held in Wuzhen, Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, in late September.

As an important part of the World Internet Conference, this year's Light of the Internet Expo will last three and a half days. It will be launched one day before the opening of the World Internet Conference and close at the same time as the conference.

The expo consists of three parts, including online and offline exhibitions, releases of new products and technologies, and talent matchmaking, aiming to become an important window for industrial cooperation and exchange in the global digital economy.

More than 100 enterprises, including Huawei, Tencent, Baidu, Kaspersky, and Epson, have signed up for the offline exhibition so far.

Considering that some Chinese and foreign enterprises are unable to participate in the exhibition onsite, this year's expo will hold for the first time an online exhibition to provide a display platform for these enterprises.

Since official registration began on Aug 7, nearly 100 enterprises have applied to participate in the online exhibition.

The Global Internet Competition named "Straight to Wuzhen", as a part of the World Internet Conference, is a year-long global event for the advance of the digital economy.

This year's competition consists of seven parallel contests including digital medicine, digital "emission peak and carbon neutrality" targets, AI, industrial internet, connected vehicles, cybersecurity services and digital common prosperity.
