Jiaxing wins first Lu Xun Literature Prize

The long reportage The Red Boat Sails written by the famous military writer Ding Xiaoping won the reportage award of the 8th Lu Xun Literature Prize, local media reported on Aug 25.

The work was jointly created by the publicity department of the CPC Jiaxing municipal committee, the Jiaxing Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Zhejiang Publishing Group.

This is Jiaxing's first Lu Xun Literature Award.

The Lu Xun Literature Award established in 1997 is one of the highest honors in literature and is awarded every four years.

As a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, The Red Boat Sails tells the magnificent history of the party over the past 100 years.

The Red Boat Sails was published by Zhejiang Education Publishing House in July 2021, and it has issued 135,000 copies so far.
