The opening ceremony for China's first Amazon offline service site in Nanhu district, Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, was held on Aug 26.

Amazon is an important partner in the development of the cross-border e-commerce industry in Nanhu district. As one of the world's first companies to get involved in e-commerce, Amazon is the world's largest online retailer and most famous internet company.

The site will provide assistance to enterprises through online and offline services. On workdays, several staff will work onsite and provide guidance to companies, while an official online service account will be open to answer questions on weekends and holidays.

In addition to responding to problems faced by cross-border e-commerce enterprises in the process of business promotion, the site will also offer talent, investment and financing connections.

Since 2020, the Nanhu Park of the China (Jiaxing) Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone has introduced more than 120 cross-border e-commerce industry projects, and the value of cross-border export transactions has increased by 25 percent over the same period.
