The opening ceremony for the Club Car Jiaxing factory was held on Sept 16 in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, according to local media reports.

The brand Club Car was founded in 1958 in the United States. It is a globally leading enterprise in golf carts and green energy multi-purpose vehicles. To date, more than 6 million Club Car golf carts, multi-seater vehicles and multi-purpose vehicles have been used in golf courses, hotels and resorts, schools, communities, airports, railway stations and business venues around the world.

The Club Car Jiaxing factory is located in the Baodi International Industrial Park of the Jiaxing Economic development Zone, covering an area of 13,000 square meters. It mainly produces golf carts and personal and commercial multipurpose electric vehicles. Its annual production capacity is expected to reach 20,000 units.

Mark Wagner, global president of Club Car, spoke highly of the business environment of the Jiaxing Economic Development Zone in his online speech during the ceremony. With the strong support of the local government, Club Car's Jiaxing factory can be successfully built, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent development of the company.
