In pics: Qiantang River creates amazing tidal creeks in Jiaxing
The tides of the Qiantang River created amazing tidal creeks in the Jianshan reclamation area on the north bank of the Qiantang River estuary in Huangwan town, Haining, Jiaxing, Zhejiang.
Due to the special topography of the Jianshan reclamation area on the north bank of the estuary, the nearby seawall forms a sedimentary landform year-round, which is submerged when the tide is high, and the shallow beach is exposed after the ebb tide.
