Pinghu Museum opens

The Pinghu Museum, located at Jinpinghu Plaza in Pinghu, a county-level city in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, opened to the public on Sept 24 after five years of construction.
Spanning an area of 31 mu (2.06 hectares), the Pinghu Museum has a collection of more than 13,000 cultural relics, including pottery, porcelain, painting and calligraphy.

It also houses 1,414 volumes of 373 ancient books written since the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and 112 stone tablets from past dynasties.
In addition, the museum is equipped with cultural service spaces such as a children's interaction area, cultural and creative product exhibition area, social education activity room, lecture hall, and children's book bar.
