70 Jiaxing enterprises included on list of national 'little giants'

A total of 70 Jiaxing enterprises were recently included among the fourth batch of national "little giant" enterprises released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, local media reported on Sept 29.
"Little giant" enterprises are outstanding small and medium-sized enterprises boasting strong innovation capabilities, large market shares, core technologies and high product quality and profitability.
According to statistics, 9,099 national "little giant" enterprises were included in the first four batches.
Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Ningbo and Chongqing were among the top five cities in terms of the number of "little giant" enterprises.
Jiaxing is currently home to 104 "little giant" enterprises, the third most in Zhejiang province.
The 104 "little giant" enterprises are mainly engaged in industries such as the manufacturing of computer, communication and other electronic equipment, general equipment manufacturing, special equipment manufacturing and rubber and plastic products.
