Jiaxing's production service-oriented logistics hub was recently included on the 2022 construction list of national logistics hubs released by the National Development and Reform Commission.

Jiaxing has a strong foundation for developing into a national production service-oriented logistics hub.

The city's highway and expressway network density ranks first in the province. The Shanghai-Kunming railway freight line has recently opened, and this year, the first sea-rail intermodal container train was launched. Jiaxing Port ranks 83rd among the world's top 100 container ports and cooperates with Shanghai and Ningbo, two world-class ports.

Within 80 kilometers of the city's logistics hub, there are 36 industrial parks above provincial level, 47 top national top 1,000 towns and 34 industrial towns, with a total industrial output value of more than 2 trillion yuan ($279 billion), indicating huge potential for the development of the logistics industry.

The city's logistics hub includes the Jiaxing Modern Logistics Park and Jiaxing International Cargo Airport.

The construction of YTO's global aviation logistics hub is now underway at Jiaxing International Cargo Airport. After completion, it will become a centralized customs surveillance area for imports and exports, capable of meeting warehousing, management and customs clearance needs in the bonded area.

The Jiaxing Modern Logistics Park is now home to 154 logistics enterprises, including YTO, SF Express and BLOGIS. From January to October this year, the park’s revenue reached 5.29 billion yuan ($738 million), up 1.7 percent year-on-year. Its tax payments reached 220 million yuan, up 16.2 percent year-on-year.
