To help solve the current shortage of fever medication, the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government has allocated 1 million paracetamol tablets to Jiaxing, which arrived in the city on Dec 26, according to the Jiaxing economy and information technology bureau.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the city is going all out with the emergency procurement of COVID-19 drugs.

The city's recently purchased 160,000 boxes of Yinqiao tablets, a type of vitamin C tablet, will arrive in the city soon, alleviating drug shortages at the city's medical institutions to a certain extent.

The drugs will be mainly delivered to medical institutions, said an official of the Jiaxing economy and information technology bureau. Citizens in need can visit hospitals and health centers nearby for medical treatment and dispensing.

Next, the city will further increase the purchase and allocation of drugs for the treatment of COVID-19.
