The China Trade Fair Indonesia 2023 was held in Jakarta, Indonesia on March 16 to 18. A total of 127 Jiaxing-based companies attended the event.

During the three-day event, Jiaxing companies received a total of 6,000 customers and obtained $110 million in intended orders.

The Jiaxing Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Exhibition proved extremely popular at the event.

For example, Improve Technology (Jiaxing) Co Ltd brought a garage door opener and an electronic clothes rack to the exhibition. The products' powerful features and technologies amazed Indonesian customers.

The electronic clothes rack has an automatic drying function, which is very practical in Indonesia, a place with a humid marine climate. It also has a voice control function, allowing users to lift and lower the clothes rack by voice.

The garage door opener has an automatic anti-theft function and is equipped with an intelligent WIFI camera, allowing users to remotely monitor using their mobile phones.

The company signed agency contracts with some local distributors, and the first order of 1,600 electric clothes racks and garage door openers was beginning the production process. Shipment can be made in mid-April, said Zhou Zhe, the company's foreign trade manager.

In 2022, ASEAN surpassed the European Union and the United States to become Jiaxing's largest trading partner, with trade between Jiaxing and ASEAN totaling 80.32 billion yuan ($11.67 billion), a year-on-year increase of 41.3 percent. Jiaxing manufacturing is becoming increasingly popular in ASEAN.
