The opening ceremony for the 2023 China Puyuan International Wool Knitwear Exposition and the Puyuan Fashion Hall was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on March 28.

Nearly 30 sweater enterprises, merchants and designer brands from Puyuan town, Tongxiang, Jiaxing, Zhejiang province attended the event.

With the help of the national exhibition platform, new spring and summer clothing products were displayed, enhancing the competitiveness and influence of Puyuan's fashion industry.

Since 2016, Puyuan has arranged for groups to participate in the China International Fashion Fair and China International Knitting Expo and held the China Puyuan International Wool Knitwear Exposition at the same time, carrying out activities such as displays, new product releases and investment attraction events.

The exhibitions have made Puyuan's wool industry shine on a broader stage.

Puyuan has emerged as the nation's biggest wool clothing production hub and saw a turnover of 106.9 billion yuan ($15.52 billion) in its wool market in the past year.
