The added value of the artificial intelligence industry in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, accounted for 6.1 percent of the total added value of above-designated-size industrial enterprises from January to February, 1.7 percentage points higher than the provincial average and ranking second in the province.

In recent years, Jiaxing has accelerated the industrialization of AI, focusing on intelligent security, intelligent automobiles, intelligent robots, intelligent hardware and products, intelligent homes, intelligent lighting, intelligent Internet of things and intelligent factories.

For example, an AI integrated smart campus system developed by Lange Group Science & Technology Co Ltd has carried out trial operations at more than 150 institutions and schools in China, covering 95 percent of daily management, life, service and teaching at general schools.

Zhejiang Tongshida Electric Technology Co Ltd is committed to decreasing reliance on import substitution for core robot components.

The company's main product, a 6-axis robot joint module, is the core component of industrial robots and is widely used in industrial fields such as service robots and collaborative robot action joints.

After the company's project reaches full capacity, it is expected to have an annual production capacity of 50,000 sets of high-end intelligent robot joints and generate 50 million yuan ($7.25 million) in revenue in 2023.
