The 5th China Opera Festival, which opened on May 12, concluded at the Xiuhu Concert Hall in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, on May 24.

The festival was co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. During the event, 24 plays from 24 troupes from all over the country staged 48 performances.
