Jiaxing ranked 21st in the top 100 most attractive cities for talent in 2022, which was jointly released by Zhaopin.com and Zeping Macro, three places higher than in 2021.

Eastern cities accounted for over 70 percent of the top 100 most attractive cities for talent in China.

Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Chengdu, Suzhou, Wuhan and Wuxi made up the top 10.

In 2022, 20.7 percent and 26.8 percent of fresh graduates and talent with master's degree or above submit their resumes in first-tier cities.

Talent also continued to gather in the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta in 2022.

Men accounted for 56 percent of migrant talent in 2022, compared with 53 percent of the total job-seeking population. Talent aged 18-30 accounted for 66.9 percent of total migrant talent, compared with 61.1 percent of the total job-seeking population. Fifty-two percent of migrant talent have a bachelor's degree or above.

Thirty percent of migrant talent have a monthly income of more than 8,000 yuan ($1,124). Fifty percent of migrant talents work in the information technology, real estate and manufacturing industries.
