The 4th "Spring of Nanhu" International Economic and Trade Fair kicked off on May 31 in Nanhu district, Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province.

This year's fair featured a series of activities, including the promotion of Nanhu district's investment environment, the reveal of Nanhu district’s scientific and technological achievements, the signing ceremony for major project agreements, and speeches by experts.

A total of 83 agreements were signed during the event, with a total investment of 33.57 billion yuan ($4.71 billion) and involving digital economy, life and health, intelligent manufacturing, modern services, high-end talent and more.

Nanhu district's three leading industrial clusters, microelectronics, intelligent equipment and life and health, have exceeded 63.5 billion yuan in total value.

The district's total industrial profit of above-designated-size enterprises — enterprises earning at least 20 million yuan annually – was 9.39 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 7.5 percent, the second highest in the city.
