The 2023 "Red Boat Cup" National Bridge Open kicked off in Jiaxing on June 29 and will last four days.

A total of 64 teams from all over the country came to Jiaxing to compete.

This year's event was particularly noteworthy as it attracted six members of the Chinese mixed group training team. The team's members were selected from all over China a year ago, and most of them will have the opportunity to participate in the Asian Games this year.

The team has been busy lately with training and participating in various competitions.

According to Hu Jihong, the coach of the national bridge team, the "Red Boat Cup" National Bridge Open is a platform for high-level bridge enthusiasts and professional players alike. It is also a place where new competition formats are tested. The Chinese mixed group training team was established not long ago, and this time they need to participate in team events to hone their skills and teamwork.

The team consists of three young players and three middle-aged players from Shanghai, Tianjin, Zhejiang, and other places, including a married couple. They hope to use this high-level competition platform to train their new team.

This is the ninth year that the "Red Boat Cup" National Bridge Open has been held. After several years of development, it has become one of the most prestigious and influential folk bridge events in the country and has been praised by the majority of bridge enthusiasts.
