Four recreational vehicles (RVs) departed from New Gonow Group's Daide RV base in Gaoqiao sub-district, Tongxiang, a county-level city of Jiaxing, for a professional exhibition in Germany on July 10.

The head of the Daide RV marketing department of New Gonow Group, Shang Yuqi, said that this is the first time a domestic RV company has used its RVs to transport people abroad to participate in exhibitions. Tongxiang-made products are bound to attract the attention of people around the world.

The Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf, Germany, the world's largest automobile camping and RV exhibition, will be held from Aug 26 to Sept 3.

It will take the Daide RVs more than a month to cross Russia and Kazakhstan and arrive in Germany for the exhibition.

The tour involved the company's three latest models of RVs and an industry-first after-sales support RV.

"The RV's most notable feature is that it doesn't require a campsite and has the ability to cruise for long periods of time. It also features new energy technology and environmental protection materials, strong energy storage and water storage capabilities and is among the best in the industry," Shang added.

The after-sales support RV, launched for the first time, will provide guarantee services for different brands of RVs in need of repair.

"Participating in the Dusseldorf Caravan Salon is not only a way to promote Chinese manufacturing brands and technologies globally but also serves as a trial for the vehicles. It will promote RV tourism exchanges and cooperation between China and Germany," said a higher-up at the company.
