Zeng Zijun, a senior high school student at Jiaxing No 1 Middle School, received three award certificates from the United States on Aug 11.

Zeng's creative work – a healthy and intelligent instrument for skin and health care – won gold at the 16th Word Creative Festival and the 38th USA Pittsburgh Invention Exhibition.

Pan Luxi, her instructor, won the gold instructor award for the international invention program.

This is the sixth time that Jiaxing No 1 Middle School has won gold awards at international invention exhibitions.

Zeng has always been interested in science and innovation projects. Since last December, she has been working on her healthy and intelligent instrument for skin and health care in her spare time and preparing to participate in the USA Pittsburgh Invention Exhibition.

In July, Zeng completed the project and entered the finals.

"The healthy and intelligent instrument for skin and health care mainly includes a comprehensive device body and a matching sports bracelet. The front of the comprehensive device body is equipped with a LED display, LED light strip, water mist outlet, water tank, waste water tank, needle cleaning tool box, power button, volume button and speaker," Zeng said.

Zeng hopes that her work can help people solve sub-health problems.

The 38th USA Pittsburgh International Invention Exhibition and the 16th World Creativity Festival were held in Pittsburgh, USA on Aug 1. The Pittsburgh International Invention Exhibition is one of the world's four major invention exhibitions. It is considered very prestigious and is recognized by world-class universities and companies.
