A group of 23 foreign trade enterprises from Pinghu, a county-level city of Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, recently traveled to Singapore to attend the 2023 Asia Consumer Sourcing Expo.

Foreign trade companies in the city that cater to the Southeast Asian market attended the expo. The companies displayed a variety of products, ranging from traditional luggage and clothing to cleaning equipment and household appliances.

The companies communicated with 300 consumers during the event and received intended orders worth $15 million.

The city also conducted a series of investment promotion activities in Singapore, aiming to create a new channel for collaboration between the two parties.

Pinghu's location, industrial base and business environment were introduced to buyers from Singapore during the event.

In addition, the city's relevant departments visited the International Enterprise Singapore and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce to carry out in-depth exchanges in the fields of industry, finance and more, hoping to convince more foreign-funded enterprises to invest in Pinghu.
