The Asia Pacific Headquarters of BARTEC, a German company, signed an agreement with Pinghu, a county-level city of Jiaxing, on Aug 22, to carry out the research, development and production of explosion-proof electrical and electric heat tracing system integration products in the city.

With a total investment of 8 million euros ($8.68 million), the project is expected to achieve an annual output of 250 million yuan ($34.35 million).

BARTEC, founded in 1975, mainly produces explosion-proof and electric heat tracing products. It is a globally renowned enterprise that provides high-quality explosion-proof electrical and electric heat tracing system integration products for explosion prevention.

In recent years, Pinghu has developed several characteristic industries, including the high-end equipment industry. The city has introduced many high-end equipment projects, and the Sino-German (Pinghu) Industrial Park has attracted more than 40 German enterprises.
