On the morning of Sept 8, the launch ceremony of the torch relay for the 19th Asian Games was held in Hangzhou.

There are a total of 106 torchbearers participating in the torch relay, including Jiaxing athlete Zhu Jin'er, who is taking the 5th leg.

The 19th Asian Games will be held from Sept 23 to Oct 8 this year. After several rounds of selection, Zhu was selected to represent China in both the women's team and individual chess events at the Games.

Zhu started learning chess at the age of four and has won many championships in various competitions. She is already well-known in the national chess world.

Zhu is currently a student at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, focusing on both her studies and chess.

If Zhu performs well, she has a good chance of winning gold, said a well-known Chinese chess player.

"She has been training in Hangzhou recently and her overall condition is not bad. We look forward to her strong performance on the Asian Games stage," said Wang Shaojie, secretary-general of the Jiaxing Chess Association and Zhu's former coach.
