Zhejiang Chenguang Cable Co Ltd, a company based in Jiaxing, has provided high-quality cable products for the Hangzhou Asian Games, which will be held in Hangzhou on Sept 23.

Cables are essential for power generation, but they also need to meet higher standards for the Asian Games, such as being waterproof and fireproof.

"We have more precipitation here, and the groundwater level is high. Therefore, customers generally require our cables to be both waterproof and fireproof. The pink layer is polyethylene, and then another layer of polyvinyl chloride is wrapped on the outside. In this way, it can provide double quality assurance," said Han Qifang, director of the company's technical supervision department.

Chenguang Cable has won a good reputation in the industry by doing every link to the extreme. The company was also a supplier of the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, where its products were used in 23 of the 33 venues.

The cable products provided by the company for Asian Games venues were conventional models, but they far exceed national standards in quality.
