The Zhejiang Fashion Industry Summit was held in Xucun town, Haining from Nov 27 to 28, during which representatives from hundreds of apparel enterprises across the province discussed the digitalization and high-quality development of the fashion industry.

"The summit provided an excellent platform for exchange and offered more opportunities for the future upgrading of companies," said Lu Jianping, general manager of Haining Tianyi Textile Co Ltd.

During the summit, strategic cooperation agreements were signed between the Xucun Town Apparel Industry Association and three branches of the Zhejiang Garment Industry Association. These collaborations aim to further deepen the integration of the digital economy with the fashion industry.

As the host of the summit, Xucun town is currently home to more than 8,000 apparel production enterprises which have created over 200 brands. The companies account for 40 percent of the market share of women's clothing on Hangzhou's e-commerce platforms.
