Ginkgo Swan Lake designated as national 4A-level tourist attraction

Ginkgo Swan Lake Scenic Area in Xiuzhou district, Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, was recently named a national 4A-level tourist attraction. It is the first of its kind in Xiuzhou district.
Ginkgo Swan Lake is a cultural tourism complex and located near Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Suzhou.
The scenic area covers about 2,120 mu (141.33 hectares) of land, with more than 1,000 mu of water area. It features a ginkgo forest with 30,000 trees and various herbivorous animals such as sika deer, black swans, and alpacas.
It also has many distinctive facilities, such as a rail train around the lake, an art museum, a wedding hall, a homestay, and a hotel.
Since it opened in April 2020, Ginkgo Swan Lake has received more than 1 million tourists. This year, it has built an indoor children's playground with an area of more than 1,000 square meters.
Xiuzhou district now has one national 4A-level scenic spot and five national 3A-level scenic spots. It will continue to stimulate high-quality economic development with culture and tourism.
