The 9th Puyuan Cup PH Value China Knitting Designer Competition Final and Award Ceremony was held in Shanghai on March 6, aiming to cultivate compound knitting design talents for both Puyuan's fashion industry and China’s broader knitting industry.

The competition attracted 1,509 works from 182 colleges and design institutions from seven countries and regions.

Tongxiang, a county-level city of Jiaxing, where Puyuan is located, is a leading city in the fashion industry. The city has issued advantageous policies to support and protect outstanding fashion talents.

New to this year's competition, the Digital Pioneer Track focused on knitting digitalization and 3D virtual modeling. It was designed to adapt to growing trends in enterprise technology development.

Lin Yunfeng, president of the China Knitting Industry Association, praised the Puyuan Cup competition as the most influential professional event in China's knitting fashion field. It has built a three-dimensional ecology of deep links between colleges, enterprises, and clusters, and has become a benchmark event in China's fashion industry.

Founded in 2016, the Puyuan Cup PH Value China Knitting Designer Competition has grown into a highly influential clothing event, creating and pushing fashion trends in the knitting industry.
