Haining, a county-level city of Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, showcased its burgeoning film and television industry at the 28th Hong Kong International Film & TV Market from March 11 to 14, which attracted a total of over 750 exhibitors from more than 25 countries and regions.

The Haining Base of China (Zhejiang) International Cooperation Experimental Zone for Film and TV Industry (HFAIT) and six enterprises made a significant impact at the event.

Reflecting on the event, Guo Long, co-founder of Naqada Film and Television Media Co Ltd, expressed excitement at the face-to-face interactions, stating, "We've achieved a lot. Online communication usually can't compare to face-to-face conversations like this!"

Neaqada Film, providing high-quality localization and dubbing services globally, secured new collaborations at the event. Last year, the company reached a cooperation agreement with Disney headquarters and, this year, it entered into an agreement with the world's leading dubbing service agency. The company's animated feature, Kung Fu Gools, also garnered interest from South Korean and Myanmar buyers.

Tianyuan Culture Media explored collaborations for introducing Hollywood IP projects, aiming to integrate them with theme parks for cultural tourism enhancement.

Haining's film and television industry is witnessing booming development. The city's HFAIT, home to over 600 enterprises, has dubbed and exported over 20,000 film and television dramas and animated films to more than 100 countries and regions since its establishment in 2012.
