A delegation led by Phulman Bal Tamang, the general manager of Nepal Television, visited Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, at the invitation of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee from May 25 to 26.

This visit fostered cultural exchanges and strengthened communication between Nepal and China.

The delegation included journalists from traditional mainstream media from Nepal, as well as popular online influencers. In Wuzhen, they experienced the charm of Jiangnan's traditional architecture with its distinct white walls, black tiles, and waterside pavilions.

The group also participated in Wuzhen's unique morning tea culture, admired the artistic features of Wucun village, and discussed heritage protection, cultural tourism development, and international artistic cooperation.

The delegation visited the Red Boat on Nanhu Lake and toured the Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall, learning about the century-long journey of the Party. The members expressed admiration for China's development achievements.

At the Zicheng Ruins Park in Jiaxing, young artists from the delegation performed together with local Jiaxing artists, resulting in a unique fusion of traditional cultures.

The delegation's visit to Jiaxing is significant for promoting media cooperation, deepening cultural and artistic exchanges, and strengthening the friendship between China and Nepal.
