Jiaxing company provides innovative tech for Shenzhen-Zhongshan cross-sea passage
The Shenzhen-Zhongshan cross-sea passage, a major national project, began trial operations on June 30, cutting travel time between Shenzhen and Zhongshan from two hours to under 30 minutes.
This project, featuring bridges, islands, tunnels, and underwater interchanges, is one of the world's most challenging cross -sea cluster projects, setting 10 world records. Jiaxing's Sansi Optoelectronics Technology Co Ltd contributed significantly by providing LED lighting and display systems.
The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Tunnel, part of the passage, is 6,845 meters long with eight lanes, making it the world's longest and widest steel-shell concrete immersed tube tunnel. Sansi supplied over 30,000 lighting fixtures for the tunnel.
Sansi's innovative reflective LED tunnel lights ensure uniform illumination without visible glare or flicker. The lights intelligently adjust brightness and color temperature based on external conditions, enhancing driver safety.
On both sides of the tunnel, Sansi's adjustable full-color landscape lights guide vehicles, changing colors based on environmental conditions and traffic flow. In emergencies, the lights display red, yellow, and green segments, facilitating orderly evacuation and highlighting fire exits.
The two artificial islands in the sea also feature Jiaxing-developed technology. Sansi provided low-level lighting for the ramps and over 10,000 landscape lights for the West Artificial Island, along with display screens for monitoring stations and lobbies.
Sansi has completed over 2,500 tunnel lighting projects, including the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. This project underscores Sansi's technological prowess and supports the construction of global cross-sea passages.
