In the recently released China City Attractiveness Ranking for Talents born after 1995: 2023, Jiaxing secured the 24th position among China's most appealing cities for talents born after 1995.

The attractiveness index for talents born after 1995 considers factors such as the per capita disposable income, patents granted, cinema availability, and net inflow of talents born after 1995, as well as the proportion of university graduates and master's degree holders among them.

The ranking reveals that individuals born after 1995 predominantly move between first-tier cities and within city clusters, with coastal cities experiencing increased appeal. Eastern regions, particularly the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta city clusters, are favored destinations among this demographic.

Jiaxing has consistently valued and prioritized talent. In recent years, efforts have been made to attract more global professionals to the Yangtze River Delta.

Jiaxing designates May 18 as Jiaxing Talent Day, and initiatives such as the Jiaxing Talent Code digital application have been promoted. Over the past four years, more than 100,000 young university students have been attracted to the city, making Jiaxing the 21st most attractive city for talent in China.
