In response to growing demand for home cooling appliances in overseas markets, foreign trade enterprises in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province have seen such products selling well abroad.

According to Jiaxing Customs, the total exports of major home cooling products, including refrigerator compressors, refrigerators, air conditioners, and electric fans, reached 26.02 billion yuan ($3.6 billion) from January to July, a 24.02-percent year-on-year increase.

Jiaxipera Compressor Co Ltd, a leading enterprise in the global refrigerator compressor manufacturing industry based in Jiaxing, has consistently maintained its position as the top player in the world's refrigerator compressor industry over the past three years, with a global market share exceeding 25 percent.

In the first half of this year, the company achieved a milestone by surpassing a monthly production output of 5 million units, providing the most essential components for refrigerators worldwide.

"We are working full-throttle to transform and upgrade our production lines by automating and digitizing them and employing more high-end, intelligent, and environmentally friendly processes," said Zheng Aiwu, deputy head of the company's technical management department.

Jiaxing Customs has implemented a series of measures, such as 24/7 appointment-based customs clearance, advance declaration, and online issuance of inspection and quarantine certificates, to facilitate the export of cooling products.
