The 136th Autumn Canton Fair, commencing on Oct 15, will feature 535 foreign trade companies from Jiaxing. They will showcase 41,000 products, over 20 percent of which will be new.

Lu Wei, deputy general manager of Zhejiang Skyland Import and Export Co Ltd, highlighted the company's intensive preparations. Skyland secured 12 brand booths to present over 10 new series of products. Among them is an ultra-light, ultra-thin pressure-resistant travel case with innovative design and modified plastic, reducing shell thickness while enhancing overall strength.

In the first three quarters of this year, Skyland's imports and exports increased by 10-percent year-on-year, and with the new orders from the Canton Fair, its sales are expected to exceed $35 million for the whole year.

This year, 535 companies from Jiaxing will participate in the fair, and the city will operate 970 booths. Jiaxing's companies are set to enhance their image and secure new orders. Five companies will debut new products, with Newcomer Group and Winsun Import and Export showcasing their latest innovations in the bag exhibition area. Haining Kindway Import and Export will engage in online matchmaking with South American markets.

Focusing on market precision, product development, and strong services, Jiaxing is working to ensure its companies are well-prepared for the 20-day event, aiming to strengthen its global export footprint.
