Forbes China, in partnership with the Globalization Business Research Center (GBRC), has unveiled the 2024 Forbes China New Era Disruptive Founders list after eight months of research. The list highlights leaders who drive significant change in human civilization and development.

Zhang Xinhua from Haining, a county-level city of Jiaxing, is among the honorees. With 30 years in the business, Zhang is a self-taught bag designer, an external graduate mentor at Donghua University, and founder of Kalay Group.

Zhang has led the bag industry through innovative upgrades, collaborating with smart platforms including HarmonyOS Connect, Huawei HiLink, and Apple Find My. Zhang introduced the concept of "reducing the burden on schoolbags, ensuring proper size", establishing four industry standards for schoolbags and promoting sector standardization.

Under her leadership, Kalay was expanded into the e-commerce market. In 2020, she envisioned a livestream matrix, and by 2024, she implemented a "thousand accounts" model in livestream e-commerce, creating numerous jobs and supporting entrepreneurial ventures.

Zhang's groundbreaking efforts have earned her a spot on the 2024 Forbes China New Era Disruptive Founders list, celebrating her role in transforming the industry and inspiring future leaders.
