The upgrade and renovation endeavor of the Jiaxing Sports Center in Zhejiang province has successfully cleared its final inspection and is poised to make a stunning debut following Spring Festival.

In anticipation of the 2025 Asian Marathon Championships and other big events, the Jiaxing Sports Center embarked on a comprehensive renovation journey in June 2024.

The color scheme and surface texture of the stadium's runway reflect the renowned Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium, the main venue of the Asian Games. 

By utilizing premium prefabricated membranes approved for Asian Games venues, the center attained the Class I venue certification from the China Athletics Association in November 2024, a remarkable achievement making it the sole facility in Jiaxing to secure this recognition.

Looking ahead, the Jiaxing Sports Center is gearing up to align with the detailed guidelines set for the Asian Marathon Championships, ensuring smoothing operations come March 2025.

Furthermore, Jiaxing is set to welcome an array of concerts and large-scale events, promising the public an enriched cultural and athletic panorama to savor.
