Jiaxing Port has kicked off 2025 with record-breaking container throughput, handling 633,500 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) in January and February, a 32.84 percent year-on-year increase, making it the fastest-growing port in Zhejiang province.

Logistics firms in Jiaxing have played a critical role in this success by expanding end-to-end port logistics services, optimizing berth scheduling, reducing vessel wait times, and enhancing workforce coordination. These efforts have significantly boosted operational efficiency and ensured a smooth flow of cargo.

Meanwhile, Jiaxing's foreign trade container sector remains robust, with near-sea shipping networks now covering six countries and Ningbo's transshipment services improving both quality and speed.

In the first two months of 2025, Jiaxing Port processed 101,300 TEUs of foreign trade containers, marking a 26.42 percent year-on-year increase.
