The 20th Asian Marathon Championships & Jiaxing Marathon 2025 will set off in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, on March 30, welcoming 55 elite runners from 20 Asian Athletics Association member countries and 156 international participants from 23 countries and regions among the 20,000 registered competitors.

This year's event takes a futuristic turn with Hangzhou-based Unitree Robotics as the title sponsor, incorporating AI-driven robotics and smart services to enhance the marathon experience. Runners and spectators alike will witness how cutting-edge technology is shaping the future of sports.

A comprehensive medical support network is in place, with strategically positioned medics, mobile first responders, and emergency vehicles on standby. Local hospitals have set up fast-track access for athletes requiring immediate care.

Nearly 3,000 trained volunteers will be stationed throughout the event, offering guidance and assistance. Transportation logistics are also well-coordinated, with hundreds of shuttle buses, thousands of bicycles, and shared e-bikes available for easy access before and after the race.

Beyond the competition, Jiaxing is transforming the marathon into a citywide celebration of sports and culture.

Visitors are encouraged to explore the city's historic sites, canals, and culinary offerings, with a special initiative promoting "run a race, explore a city" tourism. Recognizing the needs of marathoners, 23 local hotels are providing early breakfasts from 4:30 am and extended check-out times until 3:00 pm, ensuring runners can recover comfortably.
