A delegation from Haining, a county-level city in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, led by the Haining Film and Television Base and comprising several film and cultural enterprises, returned from the 29th Hong Kong International Film and TV Market — held from March 17 to 20 — with significant achievements.

The Haining Film and Television Base holds a distinguished status as China's first national-level film and television base dedicated to international collaboration. It is also the only such facility in China explicitly oriented toward the import and export of film and television products.

By the end of 2024, the Haining Film and Television Base had become home to 632 film and television companies, collectively generating a total revenue of 24 billion yuan ($3.31 billion).
