A group of international students from Russia, Italy, and other countries recently attended a unique class in Qinshan subdistrict, Haiyan county, Jiaxing.

This "rural classroom", organized by the Haiyan county government and Zhejiang Gongshang University, offers hands-on experiences in traditional farming and folk culture. The program immerses students in the charm of China's countryside and its cultural heritage.

"To truly understand China, one must understand its villages. We hope students not only learn but also bridge cultures," said Cong Tianluo, deputy director of the Academy of Zhejiang Culture Industry Innovation and Development at Zhejiang Gongshang University.

So far, the program has hosted over 10 sessions, engaging more than 200 students from 20 countries and regions.
