The launch ceremony of Zhejiang Provinces Cross-Border E-Commerce Service Season and the Jiaxing Cross-Border E-Commerce Resource Fair officially took place in Jiaxing on April 2.

As the province's first large-scale e-commerce service event of the year, it covered 8,000 square meters and brought together a wide range of industry stakeholders.

The initiative aims to connect service providers with businesses through policy support, resource matchmaking, and case sharing. Its goal is to help traditional manufacturing and trade enterprises enter the cross-border e-commerce space, while enabling existing e-commerce businesses to grow and transition from exporting products to building global brands.

Zhejiang is striving to create a development environment that is service-oriented, cost-efficient, and highly effective. Authorities called on local governments to align services with enterprise needs, and invited global platforms and service providers to invest in and anchor themselves in Zhejiang. Businesses are encouraged to engage more actively in cross-border e-commerce to expand their global reach and drive transformation.

At the launch, several government-enterprise cooperation agreements were signed. Policy consultation areas were set up by commerce, taxation, customs, central bank, and insurance agencies to provide on-site guidance.

Fourteen universities, including Zhejiang Gongshang University and Jiaxing University, offered recruitment and training services to support talent development in the sector.
