Nidec Automotive Motor (Zhejiang) Corporation (R&D), located in Pinghu Economic and Technological Development Zone of Pinghu, Jiaxing city, East China's Zhejiang province, has established an intelligent motor factory. 

In this era of intelligent empowerment, it is creating a highly digitized and intelligent production model from design, manufacturing, and intelligent testing to monitoring and management.

"In the future, key components will transition from semi-automatic to fully automatic, and product quality can be detected through AI intelligent image recognition," said a representative from the company.

As of now, futurstic factories are emerging across Jiaxing. Through the new technological upgrade project, Nidec Automotive Motor has achieved system integration, data interoperability, and automated and transparent production processes, paving the way towards the future.

The production capacity of Nidec Automotive Motor's motors has reached a reported annual output of 25 million units, with 300,000 units being new energy motors. After the completion of the new technological upgrade project, the annual output is expected to exceed 34 million units.

The large-scale technological upgrade projects are not unique in Jiaxing. The Zhejiang Dushan Energy, subsidiary of Xinfengming Group, has been consistently writing a remarkable story of major technological upgrades.

In recent years, the company has introduced internationally leading production facilities and process technologies while carrying out energy-saving technological transformations involving steam as well as circulating water pumps.
