The Nanhu Theater Arts Exhibition opened on June 13 in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, with its theme of "Diversification and Integration".

This year's edition aims to be a totally immersive theatrical experience, blending classic and avant-garde, tradition and trends, all under one cultural umbrella.

Renowned artists and performers, including Siqin Gaowa, Wang Suya, Guo Kaimin, and Wen Yujun, attended the opening ceremony, drawing enthusiastic fans.

"I used to travel to big cities to see performances like these," said a theater enthusiast from the Yangtze River Delta region. "Now it's right at my doorstep, and I even get to meet legends like Siqin Gaowa. It's an opportunity not to be missed," she said.

Opening the exhibition was the highly anticipated dance drama Tianxia Dazu, a masterpiece inspired by the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Dazu Rock Carvings in Chongqing in Southwest China.

The performance brought ancient stone carvings to life through vivid choreography, portraying the craftsmanship and cultural spirit of generations past. Ticket holders were able to claim a signing pass at the program booth.

Starting from June 13, Jiaxing is set to become a stage where art meets life, inviting the public to celebrate the joy and accessibility of diverse, high-quality theater.
