The iFlytek Jiaxing Industry Accelerator Center was inaugurated on June 18 in Nanhu district of Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, during an artificial intelligence (AI) development forum and iFlytek AI TechDay event.

The center aims to integrate government policies, iFlytek technologies, and ecosystem resources to support small- and medium-sized enterprises. It will foster innovation and entrepreneurship, establishing the area as a hub for AI-driven development.

Jiaxing recently released its AI action plan, outlining a roadmap for accelerating smart transformation. Backed by its designation as a national computing hub, Jiaxing currently hosts nearly 200 large-scale AI industrial enterprises, with 2024 revenue reaching 70.95 billion yuan ($9.87 billion).

Nanhu has attracted over 50 AI firms like iFlytek. With GDP surpassing 110 billion yuan in 2024, the district is advancing a 20-billion-yuan AI industrial fund to support research, applications, and scenario development.

During the event, iFlytek signed partnership agreements with DeRucci for smart home solutions and Smartbi for AI software integration. Six startups signed three-way agreements with Nanhu and the accelerator center, marking the first group of enterprises to move in.

The event highlighted how AI is transforming traditional industries, public services, and daily life through collaboration.
