Autonomous vehicles made in Tongxiang, a county-level city in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, made their debut on Sept 25 at the 4th Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou, drawing crowds at the expo's smart mobility section.

Teemo Technology, together with industry partner Zelos, unveiled the T1 autonomous vehicle. Compact and white, the vehicle is equipped with two rotating lidar sensors, 12 integrated cameras forming a 360-degree monitoring system, and a self-developed intelligent skateboard chassis that adapts to speed bumps and puddles. Designed for smart security and public safety, such as patrol, fraud prevention outreach, and illegal parking monitoring, the car features light-map navigation and can cover a distance of 150 to 200 kilometers per charge, with a top speed of 36 km per hour.

Another model, the T300, adopts a modular design that allows for the separation of the cab and body. It can transform into a security patrol car, cold-chain transport vehicle, or mobile vending unit. By relocating radar equipment into the cab, the cargo volume increases from 2 to 3 cubic meters, improving load capacity by 50 percent while cutting costs by 60 percent.

Other Tongxiang companies also drew attention at the expo, such as the traditional brand Nv Er Qiao, which highlighted its cashmere and wool scarves.
