On Oct 9, the mighty tidal bore of the Qiantang River attracted visitors to Haining, a county-level city in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province. This annual natural spectacle reached its peak as waves surged toward the banks with thunderous roars, creating a breathtaking scene that left crowds in awe of nature's power.

Approximately 143,100 people and 26,900 vehicles gathered along the coastal embankments to witness the event.

By 11 am, Yanguan Guanchao Park was already filled with visitors. Among them was Hu Ying from Wuxi, Jiangsu province, who came with her sisters after years of only seeing the Qiantang tide on television. Nearly 50,000 people gathered at the park to witness the spectacular tidal bore on Oct 9.

Around 1:50 pm, a roaring white tide surged along the Qiantang River, thundering like thousands of galloping horses before reaching Yancang town in Jiaxing.
