An international cultural exchange event was held recently in Haiyan county, Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, bringing together participants from nine countries and regions including France, Brazil, and Serbia.

The event showcased the beauty of China's countryside through creative experiences, blending rural scenery with modern art. As sunset lit up the sky, guests headed to the event's highlight — Dengta Restaurant, a popular new landmark perched atop a tea-covered hill. With panoramic views of Yuehu Lake bathed in golden evening light, visitors enjoyed locally inspired dishes while admiring the restaurant's design, transformed from an industrial site into an artistic space.

Guests also visited Lan Feng Xiang Ming, a time-honored tea brand in Jiaxing, and its tea-producing area, where they strolled through the fields before capturing the evening glow over Yuehu Lake.

The event offered not only visual and culinary enjoyment, but also a sense of cultural connection. International visitors showcased Fengyi village's transformation — from mine restoration to a hub of cultural tourism — through short videos and photos online. This generated global attention and highlighted the evolving charm of China's rural communities.
