As the 2025 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit approaches, innovation in the digital entertainment industry is thriving in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, where Jiu Zhou Wen Hua is pushing the global expansion of Chinese micro-dramas.

Founded in 2021, the company has built a complete industry chain covering copyright operations, content creation, co-production, paid distribution, and official releases, with the aim of bringing Chinese stories to a global audience through high-quality, market-driven productions.

With creative bases in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Jiaxing, and Chongqing, Jiu Zhou Wen Hua collaborates with over 10 screenwriting firms and more than 300 production studios, supported by a workforce of over 1,000 professionals engaged in every stage from script development to post-production review.

Its overseas platform ShortMax, launched in 2023, has become a key vehicle for its global expansion. The platform now covers more than 200 countries and regions, boasting over 90 million registered users and 200 million downloads. Combining translation with self-production, ShortMax adapts popular domestic series into multiple languages while also developing region-specific content to sustain long-term international growth.

Looking ahead to the Wuzhen Summit, which starts on Nov 6, the company plans to share insights on content innovation and global communication enabled by the internet.
