The 6th Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo is underway in Shanghai from Nov 20 to 22, bringing together cultural institutions, creative companies, and industry leaders from the Yangtze River Delta region.
The event highlighted both traditional strengths and emerging digital industries, with Jiaxing in East China's Zhejiang province showcasing a unique blend of heritage craftsmanship and innovative cultural technologies. The Jiaxing exhibition area featured six companies that bridged traditional culture with modern technology.
Among the six companies, Fengda Silk presented silk painting techniques rooted in local heritage, displaying scarves, folding fans, and decorative pieces crafted with dyed silk. Yuanyue Cultural and Creative introduced creative products inspired by local museums and city landmarks, allowing visitors to take home stories connected to Jiaxing.
EMF was nationally recognized as a leading cultural export enterprise. Its designs incorporate ethnic attire, solar terms, and local folk art into contemporary costume sets, extending traditional motifs to global audiences. Digital companies added a modern dimension.
Jiu Zhou Wen Hua, known for producing micro-dramas, drew crowds with works distributed through its overseas platform, which reaches more than 200 countries and regions.
Leveraging its blend of cultural heritage and digital innovation, Jiaxing showcased a dynamic cultural ecosystem at the expo, demonstrating its potential for sustained development across the delta region.
