Haiyan county in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, has become a strategic hub for attracting capital flows from countries like Denmark, Switzerland, Germany, the United States, and Japan, supporting the upgrading of the local manufacturing industry.

With a four-pronged strategy focusing on vision, mission, scale, and positioning, the county has established itself in the global marketplace. Its commitment to providing a complete service lifecycle has made it a reliable partner, supporting companies in their expansion.

One notable example is Danfoss, a Danish company that entered Haiyan in 2005 through the acquisition of a local enterprise. Over the years, the company has witnessed remarkable growth, with its Haiyan-based park reaching nearly 4 billion yuan ($569 million) in output by 2024.

This success has attracted other European companies, leading to the creation of a Nordic industrial park in Haiyan, where 17 European firms now operate.
