East China's Zhejiang province saw robust foreign trade growth in 2025, with its annual import and export value expected to surpass 4 trillion yuan ($572 billion) for the first time.

Jiaxing was a key driver of this expansion. More than 5,000 local enterprises expanded their global reach, securing overseas orders worth nearly 20 billion yuan. From January to November, the city's exports to emerging markets grew by 11.4 percent year-on-year.

According to Huang Xiaoxiao, deputy director of the Jiaxing municipal bureau of commerce, the city's foreign trade success stems from three core strengths: strong manufacturing capability, high product quality, and a high share of consumer goods in its export mix.

A key initiative supporting this growth is "Jiamao Quanqiu", a Jiaxing outbound trade brand launched under the city's annual market expansion plan and unveiled in Pinghu, a county-level city in Jiaxing. The brand will be promoted across three primary channels: organizing proprietary exhibitions overseas, enhancing visibility at major international trade fairs, and upgrading overseas sales centers to ensure sustained global exposure.

Looking ahead to 2026, Jiaxing-based enterprises plan to attend some of the most highly anticipated international exhibitions in Germany, the United States, and France.
