A night bazaar – featuring handicrafts and other delightful products from East China's Zhejiang province – was held on May 14 at the Heyang Ancient Residence in Jinyun county – administered by the prefecture-level city of Lishui in Zhejiang.
The event showcased more than 40 intangible cultural heritages from Lishui – as well as from Zhejiang's Zhoushan, Jinhua, Hangzhou and Quzhou cities – attracting throngs of eager visitors from the surrounding areas.
The inheritor of traditional wooden arch bridge construction skills from Lishui's Qingyuan county, Hu Miao, brought along some display models and talked about how the bridges are made at the market.

"I am delighted that more people can experience the entire process of wooden arch bridge construction," Hu said.
To top it off, there were some engaging performances that thrilled visitors, such as a puppet show and a lion dance.
"As a 4A-level scenic spot, the Heyang Ancient Residence has unique local charm," said Zhou Lifen, an official from the Lishui culture, radio, television, tourism and sports bureau.
"Through these kinds of activities, people can appreciate the rich local culture of Jinyun and at the same time, the popularity of the scenic spot will get a boost," Zhou added.
